Love the variety of the Indian groceries At Evans Groceries. They carry all variety of Indian groceries, vegetables and meats. I shop at Evans grocery at least once a week. The vegetables and meats are fresh and reasonably priced. They also have all the spices, lentils, rice and flour for chapatis. The frozen food section has everything one can d The staff is also very helpful. I would recommend Evans groceries to anyone who is looking for Indian groceries in the north east San Antonio. Please visit Evans grocery as soon as possible. The store has plenty of variety of all grocery supplies. The store ambiance is a typical Indian store. You will get everything you are looking for.

Good place with a variety of grocery options. Some herbs are cheaper than HEB. Think of it like a farmers market plus convenience store all rolled up into one. Check dates and quality before you buy but you won't regret coming in for the value. Nice restaurant connected too that has the best food.

Friendly staff. Try to help out if you need anything. They have wide varieties of Indian groceries. I love shopping grocery here. Thanks to gal for making me write reviews.

Open on weekends and late in the evenings. Found the Asian eggplants I've been looking for. Moreover, it's closeby, behind Gold's gym.

Indian/Pakistani supermarket on the north side! This little market is hidden away on the rear side of the shopping center located on the northeast corner of 281 & Evans. This grocery faces away from where all the traffic is. They do have pretty fair selection of Indian snacks- I got some peanuts flavored with spices from Mumbai. They have a lot of Indian sodas, and spice mixes. Their produce section leaves some to be desired- it looks a bit on the sad side. The service is really great here! They run regular specials here, and they're happy to answer questions about the food. The prices are rather great, especially considering that this stuff had to be shipped across the globe to get here. There's a restaurant here, but I didn't get to try that one out.

I really enjoy stopping here when their fresh produce arrives (Tuesdays & Thursdays). They carry produce you can't find at HEB and would be lucky to find at a Trader Joe's. The folks that work here are friendly and will answer questions you have about their produce or food products. I'm a novice when it comes to Indian cooking and am just fascinated at the variety they carry. Each time I stop by, I grab a new item to try out in the kitchen. When I was making my purchase today, the cashier and a customer helped explain to me how to cook a meal with an Indian squash. The squash I bought was called Tinda. I also bought a large, green guava. It was crunchy and sweet. The hubs and I devoured the guava when we got home. It.Was.Delicious.
